Cokato Corn Carnival
Nothing brings more people to Cokato than the fresh, buttery, corn-on-the-cob served at the town’s annual Corn Carnival, which takes place during the second week in August.
Since 1950, the Cokato Corn Carnival has featured rides, music, food, games, a parade, and corn-on-the-cob.
A person can eat all the corn they possibly can for free with the purchase of a $3 Corn Carnival button. Also by purchasing a button, one is automatically entered into a drawing to win cash prizes of $2,500, $1,500, and $1,000, given away on the last day of the carnival.
