The City of Cokato operates an ambulance service, with director Jim Erickson.

The ambulance service area includes the City of Cokato, Cokato Township, Stockholm Township and part of French Lake Township.

Fourteen members are scheduled to respond to 911 calls. The ambulance service was formed in 1979.

“We had 118 calls our first year, and recently had a high of 377 calls in our calendar year,” Erickson commented.

The ambulance station is located on Jenks Avenue in Cokato.
